Beschrijving voorzijde Laureate and draped bust of Galerius Maximianus as Caesar facing right, depicted with short beard and wearing a laurel wreath, with a paludamentum (military cloak) fastened at the right shoulder. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail characteristic of the Antioch mint's early Tetrarchic production. The circumferential legend reads MAXIMIANVS NOB CAES, identifying the ruler as Galerius Maximianus in his capacity as Noble Caesar under the First Tetrarchy.

Beschrijving keerzijde Jupiter (Iuppiter) Conservator standing facing left, nude save for a chlamys draped over his left shoulder and arm, holding a thunderbolt upward in his raised right hand and a long vertical sceptre in his left. At his feet to the left stands an eagle, the god's sacred attribute, facing right with wings folded. The composition affirms the divine protection of Jupiter over the Caesar, a central ideological theme of Diocletian's Tetrarchy. The mint mark SMAΞ appears in the exergue, denoting the Antioch mint (Sacra Moneta Antiochiae), officina Ξ (sixth workshop). The divided legend IOVI CONS-CAES flanks the figure, with a six-pointed star serving as a field mark to the right.
