The goddess is rendered in a statuesque, classicising style with finely engraved drapery falling to her feet. The reverse legend encircles the field, divided on either side of the standing figure. The composition reflects Domitian's well-documented devotion to Minerva, who appears prominently across his coinage throughout his reign. |
