| Beschrijving voorzijde | Draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style with curled hair and short beard characteristic of his portraiture. The effigy displays drapery over the left shoulder, visible at the bust truncation. The encircling legend in Greek characters reads ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟΝ ΚΑΙCΑΡΑ ΘЄCCΑΛΟΙ, identifying Hadrian as Caesar and honoring him in the name of the Thessalians. The flan is irregular, as typical of provincial bronze coinage of the period, with the legend partially distributed around the periphery of the field. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Standing figure of Athena facing left, clad in a long chiton and peplos, raising her right arm aloft and holding a wreath or spear in that hand, while her left arm cradles a circular shield. The goddess is depicted in a dynamic, slightly striding posture typical of Hellenistic provincial die-cutting. The surrounding legend in Greek, distributed around the periphery, reads CTRA ΟΥΛ ΝΙΚΟ ΜΑΧΟΥ, recording the name and title of the local strategos Ulpius Nikomachos under whose authority the coin was issued. The reverse field is plain, with the figure occupying the central zone of the flan. |
