The legend is contained within a cartouche formed by two parallel ruled lines, the whole enclosed by a prominent outer border of raised uniform beads matching the obverse. The mint name 'Mashhad' appears in the lower register, affirming the place of issue. The hammered flan exhibits characteristic irregularity at the periphery, consistent with Afsharid minting practice. |
