| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse displays multiple horizontal lines of Arabic script in bold, raised naskh lettering arranged across the entire field, typical of Mamluk ashrafi coinage. The inscription, occupying three principal registers, contains the religious formula and the sultan's titulature. The legends are struck on an irregularly shaped planchet with a slightly granular surface characteristic of hammered gold coinage of the period. No decorative border is present, the text filling the field to its margins. The die work exhibits the confident, if somewhat cursive, calligraphic style associated with late Mamluk mint production. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse likewise presents multiple horizontal registers of Arabic script in raised naskh lettering filling the entire field, consistent with the standard Mamluk ashrafi format. The inscriptions contain additional elements of the religious legend and the sultan's regnal titles, arranged in three to four lines across the flan. The hammered planchet displays characteristic surface irregularities and slight flan weakness at the margins. No border or decorative element frames the legends. The calligraphic execution is bold and characteristic of the Cairo mint output during the brief reign of al-Zahir Timurbugha. |
