At the centre, a prominent raised spiral or volute device — likely an Adinkra-derived symbol — projects from the junction of the vertical and horizontal dividing lines. The surfaces display the characteristic roughness and slight irregularity inherent to hand-finished sand or clay mould casting, with a dark bronze-brown patina consistent with age and use. |
