| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Vespasian facing right, rendered in the robust, realistic portrait style characteristic of Flavian coinage. The emperor's mature features are depicted with close-cropped hair surmounted by a laurel wreath, with drapery visible at the truncation of the neck. The encircling Latin legend runs along the periphery of the flan, naming the emperor with his full imperial titulature. The flan shows typical irregular hammered fabric with a deep olive-green patina. |
