| Opis rewersu | The reverse depicts two right hands clasped together in a handshake (dextrarum iunctio), a classical symbol of fidelity and mutual pledge, surmounted by a caduceus entwined with two serpents and flanked by two wheat ears, emblematic of Fides Publica and the abundance of the Roman state. The senatorial mark of authority, S C (Senatus Consultum), appears in the lower field to either side of the central device, affirming the senate's authorization of this bronze coinage.
