| Obverse description | Bare head of Tiberius facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair swept in layered waves across the crown. The portrait displays the characteristic imperial physiognomy associated with Tiberian coinage of the provincial series. The surrounding legend in Latin reads TI CAE DIVI AVG F AVG IMP VII, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The die workmanship reflects competent local engraving consistent with the Utica civic mint of the early Julio-Claudian period. |
