| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate bust of Nero facing right, depicted with the characteristic broad, fleshy features associated with his later portraiture. The effigy is rendered in high relief with a draped or bare-shouldered treatment. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TR P P, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits heavy green patination and surface corrosion consistent with extended burial, partially obscuring fine detail. The overall style is typical of the Rome Mint's official coinage under Nero's later reign. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The goddess Victory advancing left, holding a shield inscribed SPQR and a wreath or palm branch, rendered in the classicising style characteristic of Neronian bronze coinage. The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) appears prominently in the field, flanking the central figure, asserting the Senate's nominal authority over the bronze coinage. The reverse field and design are heavily obscured by thick green cuprite and malachite encrustation resulting from long-term soil exposure. The composition follows the standard iconographic programme established for Neronian asses of this type (RIC I 542). |
