| Opis rewersu | A draped female figure, identified as Livia in the guise of Pax or Justitia, seated facing right on an ornate throne with decorative legs. She holds a long vertical scepter in her right hand and a patera or branch in her left hand extended forward. The large senatorial mark S C (Senatus Consultum) flanks the enthroned figure on either side in the field, dominating the composition. The reverse is framed by a finely executed beaded border. The restrained, formal rendering of the seated figure is characteristic of Tiberian bronze coinage struck at the Rome mint. |
