Below, a prominent ear of wheat with full grain head occupies the lower field, also oriented to the left, symbolising the agricultural fertility of the Baetican region. Two lines of South Iberian (Meridional) script inscription are arranged horizontally between the two devices, dividing the field. The overall composition reflects the agrarian iconographic tradition characteristic of the Hispanic municipal coinage of Obulco. |
