The goddess wears a mural crown or kalathos on her head, and her forearms are extended horizontally to each side. Flanking columns or elaborate supports with hanging drapery are visible on either side of the figure, faithfully reproducing the famous cult image housed in the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus.
