| Descrizione del rovescio | Draped bust of Empress Sabina facing right, her elaborately coiffed hair arranged in waves and braids piled upon the crown of the head in the fashionable Hadrianic style, with loose curling strands at the nape of the neck. The imperial consort is depicted with a diadem and draped in a finely rendered garment, the folds of which are visible at the truncation. The surrounding legend ϹΑΒΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ identifies the empress, while the regnal date L ΙΓ (Year 13) in the left field dates the issue to the 13th year of Hadrian's reign (128–129 AD). A beaded border frames the design, consistent with Alexandrian mint practice. |
