The legend ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟ(Ϲ) ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕ surrounds the effigy, identifying the emperor by his title Sebastos Eusebes. The portraiture is typical of Alexandrian tetradrachm coinage of regnal year 22, executed in the provincial hammered style. |

The composition reflects the standard Alexandrian billon tetradrachm reverse type honoring the martial and civic virtues of Rome, struck during the twenty-second regnal year of Antoninus Pius. |
