| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Severus Alexander facing right, depicted three-quarter view from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The effigy displays finely rendered curled hair beneath the laurel wreath, characteristic of Alexandrian portraiture of the Severan period. The surrounding field carries the imperial titulature in Greek letters arranged as a circular legend. A dotted border frames the design. |

| Reverse description | Bearded head of the god Ammon facing right, adorned with a solar disk atop his ram-horned crown, rendered with flowing curled locks and full beard in the syncretic Greco-Egyptian style typical of Alexandrian coinage. A palm branch is positioned in the right field before the deity's face, symbolising victory and divine favour. The regnal year date L ΙΒ (year 12) is divided by the central motif, with L to the left and ΙΒ to the right. The reverse is enclosed within a beaded border. |
