The emperor's paludamentum is visible over the cuirass, and the laurel wreath crowns the head in finely detailed relief. The Greek imperial titulature is distributed across the field in two groups flanking the bust. The portrait displays the distinctive Hadrianic physiognomy rendered in the local Alexandrian style, combining Roman imperial iconography with provincial craftsmanship. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Youthful bust of Harpocrates facing right, the Egyptian god of silence and childhood depicted with his characteristic attribute: the right hand raised with index finger pressed to the lips in the traditional gesture of silence. At his shoulder appears a caduceus, the herald's staff entwined with serpents, associating the deity with Hermes-Mercury and signifying divine communication and protection. The reverse legend denotes the regnal year in Greek. The rendering reflects the syncretic Greco-Egyptian religious iconography prevalent on Alexandrian coinage under Hadrian. |
