| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered from a rear three-quarter perspective, as characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage of this period. The emperor's paludamentum is visible over the cuirass, and the laurel wreath crowns the head in finely detailed relief. The Greek imperial titulature is distributed across the field in two groups flanking the bust. The portrait displays the distinctive Hadrianic physiognomy rendered in the local Alexandrian style, combining Roman imperial iconography with provincial craftsmanship. |
