| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Tranquillina facing right, wearing a stephane (diadem) and an elaborately braided coiffure. The effigy displays fine drapery at the shoulder and upper arm, rendered in the characteristic Alexandrian provincial style. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust within the fields of the coin. |
