| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, depicted frontally with visible paludamentum and scale armour. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with characteristic bold relief. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait field, reading Α ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ΜΑ ΑΥΡ ΑΝΤωΝΙΝΟϹ ΕΥϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor by his imperial titulature. |

| Reverse description | Jugate busts of Nilus and Euthenia facing right, with Nilus depicted as a mature bearded male wearing a lotus crown and Euthenia as a draped female figure. A cornucopia appears to the left of the conjoined busts, symbolising the fertility and abundance of the Nile. The regnal year date L Ε (Year 5) appears in the right field, consistent with the fifth year of Elagabalus's reign in the Alexandrian dating system. |
