Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, depicted frontally with visible paludamentum and scale armour. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with characteristic bold relief. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait field, reading Α ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ΜΑ ΑΥΡ ΑΝΤωΝΙΝΟϹ ΕΥϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor by his imperial titulature.

Reverse description Jugate busts of Nilus and Euthenia facing right, with Nilus depicted as a mature bearded male wearing a lotus crown and Euthenia as a draped female figure. A cornucopia appears to the left of the conjoined busts, symbolising the fertility and abundance of the Nile. The regnal year date L Ε (Year 5) appears in the right field, consistent with the fifth year of Elagabalus's reign in the Alexandrian dating system.
