| Beschrijving voorzijde | Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and swept back in waves, rendered in the Antonine court style. The Greek legend ΦΑΥϹΤΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ (Faustina Augusta) encircles the effigy. The portrait displays the characteristic features of the younger Faustina, wife of Marcus Aurelius, as depicted on Alexandrian provincial coinage of the reign of Antoninus Pius. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Nilus, the personification of the Nile river, seated left upon rocks, his head turned to the right. The deity holds a reed in one hand and a large cornucopia in the other, from which a small Genius figure emerges holding a wreath. A crocodile, emblematic of the Nile, climbs the rocks beneath him. The date regnal formula L ΚΑ (Year 21) appears in the field, corresponding to the 21st year of Antoninus Pius's reign (157–158 AD). The composition reflects the distinctively Egyptian iconographic tradition of Alexandrian tetradrachm coinage. |
