| Beschrijving voorzijde | Draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gordian III facing right, laureate, depicted in three-quarter view from the front with distinct portraiture characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The imperial effigy shows the emperor in military dress with paludamentum fastened at the shoulder.
