| 背面描述 | Jupiter strides energetically to the right, nude save for a chlamys billowing behind him, his head turned slightly upward. In his raised right hand he brandishes a thunderbolt, while his left hand holds a long sceptre or eagle-tipped staff. The composition conveys divine martial power, a hallmark of Tetrarchic religious iconography associating Maximianus with Hercules and Jupiter. The reverse legend IOVI FVLGERATORI is distributed around the field, and the exergue bears the officina mark IS (Greek numeral indicating the sixth officina of the Cyzicus mint), with the mint mark XXI denoting the billon standard of 1 part silver to 20 parts alloy. |
