The radiate crown, characteristic of the antoninianus denomination, is clearly articulated with multiple prongs. The portrait displays the strong, compact facial features typical of Tetrarchic artistic convention, with a square jaw and furrowed brow. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border from left to right. The coin shows patinated bronze surfaces with areas of green encrustation consistent with extended burial. |

The reverse legend IOVI FVLGERATORI encircles the central type, identifying Jupiter in his role as the hurler of thunderbolts, a divine epithet closely associated with Diocletian's Jovian ideology.
