| Description de l’avers | Radiate, draped bust of Diocletian facing right, rendered in high relief with short beard and military paludamentum secured at the shoulder. The radiate crown, characteristic of the antoninianus denomination, is clearly articulated with multiple prongs. The portrait displays the strong, compact facial features typical of Tetrarchic artistic convention, with a square jaw and furrowed brow. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border from left to right. The coin shows patinated bronze surfaces with areas of green encrustation consistent with extended burial. |

| Description du revers | Jupiter, nude and striding left in dynamic pose, extends his right hand forward holding a thunderbolt while his left arm is outstretched for balance; an eagle stands at his feet. The figure is rendered in the compact, stylized manner characteristic of late Tetrarchic coinage, with a chlamys or drapery visible across the shoulder. The reverse legend IOVI FVLGERATORI encircles the central type, identifying Jupiter in his role as the hurler of thunderbolts, a divine epithet closely associated with Diocletian's Jovian ideology. Officina and workshop marks appear in the field and exergue, serving as mint control marks. |
