| Obverse description | Schüsselpfennig type struck on a flan with four characteristic pinched corners. Within a raised inner circle, a narrow frontal bust of a figure turned to the left, wearing a broad-brimmed hat; the face rendered in bold, stylised relief with prominent features. The initials B and V flank the bust to either side in the field, serving as identifying marks of the issuing authority. The overall composition is characteristic of late medieval Swiss bracteate-related coinage, with deeply modelled but schematic workmanship. |

| Reverse description | Uniface coin; the reverse presents the incuse mirror image of the obverse design, as is characteristic of bracteate and bracteate-derived coinage of this period. The thinly struck silver flan displays the recessed impression of the bust and flanking initials, with no additional design or legend on this side. |
