| Obverse description | Youthful head of Alexander the Great portrayed as Herakles facing right, enveloped in the scalp of the Nemean lion, the mane rendered in bold relief with deeply carved locks falling across the neck and shoulder. The facial features display the idealized Macedonian royal portrait style, with a strong jaw, slightly parted lips, and a well-modelled brow. The lion's gaping jaw rests upon the crown of the head, its teeth clearly delineated, while the pelt's folds frame the cheek and chin. A dotted border runs along the inner edge of the flan. |

| Reverse description | A quiver-and-bow case depicted horizontally across the upper field, rendered with fine detail including the decorated gorytos strap. Beneath it, a club lying diagonally occupies the central field. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ is inscribed vertically in two columns flanking the devices, reading 'of Alexander.' A trident head appears in the lower field as a mint control symbol, with the letter Δ (delta) positioned above as a secondary control mark. The reverse field is plain with no border. |
