| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central escutcheon bearing the combined arms of Moers-Saarwerden, flanked by individual heraldic shields of Moers and Saarwerden, the entire armorial composition enclosed within a multi-lobed (polylobed) inner frame. The layout follows the standard heraldic albus reverse convention of the Lower Rhine region, with the escutcheons clearly differentiated in the field. A surrounding uncial Latin legend references the mint authority of Valkenburg, running between the polylobed frame and the outer beaded border. The irregular flan edges are typical of hand-struck medieval silver coinage. |
