| Obverse description | Irregular flan bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in the field, naming the issuing khan. The inscription is rendered in a compressed, somewhat angular Naskh script typical of small hammered Crimean coinage of the sixteenth century. The lettering occupies the majority of the flat field, with no border or decorative elements. Die wear and the uneven fabric of the billon flan render portions of the legend partially legible. |
