| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field displays the mint name and regnal year in Arabic script arranged in two horizontal lines, with a double or triple ruled line separating the upper and lower portions of the legend. The upper register carries the pious formula 'Khallada Mulkahu' (may God perpetuate his reign), while the lower register records the mint name 'Misr' (Egypt) preceded by the word 'Duriba bi' (struck in), with the AH date 1031 below. The reverse is typical of Ottoman provincial mint issues, with the inscription filling the small irregular flan. |
