The royal name 'Mustafa' appears prominently in the centre, surrounded by the epithet 'Sultan Mehmed Khan' and the pious invocation 'Azza Nasruhu' (may his victory be glorious) disposed in a circular legend around the central inscription. The script is executed in the characteristic loose Ottoman thuluth hand typical of hammered akçes of this period, with the entire design confined within an irregular flan. |
