Obverse description Crudely struck hammered billon flan bearing the khan's name and title in Arabic script, arranged in two or three lines across the field. The legend reads 'Ghazi Giray Khan' (غازي كراي خان), rendered in a bold, somewhat informal calligraphic hand typical of late 16th-century Crimean Khanate coinage. The script occupies the majority of the flan, with irregular flan edges and a slightly uneven strike characteristic of the hammered technique. No border or decorative devices are present; the entire composition is epigraphic.
