Reverse description A seated female figure, tentatively identified as Aphrodite, enthroned facing left, holding an apple or globe in her extended right hand and a long sceptre in her left; at her feet stands a small Eros figure facing right. The composition reflects Hellenistic artistic conventions common to Phrygian civic bronzes of the Severan period. The reverse legend, arranged in the field and around the periphery, names the presiding asiarch Lucius Aelius Pigres in his third term of office.
