| Description de l’avers | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus facing right, seen from the rear, presented in the characteristic three-quarter rear view common to provincial coinage of the Severan period. The emperor's cuirass is rendered with detail consistent with the military imagery of his reign. The obverse legend, disposed around the periphery of the flan, identifies the emperor in abbreviated Greek titulature. The overall execution reflects the provincial workshop tradition of the Pergamene conventus. |

| Description du revers | Athena standing left, clad in aegis and helmet, holding a spear in her right hand and a shield at her left side, confronting Heracles standing facing with head turned to the right, his right hand resting on his club and his left hand holding the Nemean lion skin draped over his arm. Between the two deities at their feet stands a small lighted altar, a votive element underscoring the sacred character of the encounter. The composition, featuring the city's two divine patrons in a face-to-face arrangement, is characteristic of the civic pride expressed in the autonomous coinage of Asia Minor under the Severan dynasty. The reverse legend encircling the scene records the magistrate responsible for the issue and identifies the civic community of the Acrasians. |
