| Popis rubu | Nike, the goddess of victory, depicted standing to the left in flowing draped garments, her large wings spread behind her. She extends her right hand forward holding a wreath, while her left hand supports a tall palm branch resting against her shoulder. The figure is rendered in the classical Hellenistic tradition typical of Carian civic bronzes. The Greek civic legend identifying the city of Stratonicea and the prytanis Severianos is distributed around the field. The coin shows a dark green patina consistent with long burial, with surface corrosion but the main devices remaining legible. |
