Reverse description A bull standing to the right, rendered in profile with naturalistic musculature typical of provincial Greek bronze coinage of the Hadrianic period. The animal is depicted in a static pose, occupying the central field of the flan. The encircling legend ΑΔΡΙΑΝΩΝ ΚΙΑΝΩΝ, reading in the Greek exergual and field areas, identifies the issuing civic authority as the Hadrianic Cians, referencing the city of Cius in Bithynia, which had been refounded or honored under Hadrian. The surface shows heavy patination consistent with prolonged burial.
