Beneath the horse, a dog runs to the right, adding a hunting or heroic iconographic element characteristic of provincial civic coinage. The reverse field is populated with the magistrate's legend in Greek. The overall composition combines imperial military imagery with local mythological or civic tradition particular to Magnesia ad Maeandrum. |
