A Greek legend arcs around the upper field reading ΑΥ ΚΑΙ ΜΑΡ ΑΥ ΑΝΤΩΝ, identifying the imperial co-heirs. The confronted bust type is a hallmark of civic pride in the eastern provincial coinage of the Severan period. |
