| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate half-length bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, clad in cuirass and aegis, rendered in the bold provincial style characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The laureate wreath is depicted with fine detail, and the aegis — the divine breastplate adorned with a Gorgoneion — is visible across the chest, underscoring the emperor's divine and military authority. The Greek legend encircles the bust along the periphery of the flan, partially visible on the irregular edge. The portrait exhibits the strong, idealised features typical of Trajanic imperial iconography as adapted by the Alexandrian mint. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Zeus enthroned to the left, depicted in the Pheidian tradition, his semi-draped figure seated upon an ornate throne with a high back visible to the right. In his extended right hand he holds a small figure of Nike, and in his left hand a long sceptre. An eagle stands to the left in the field, facing the deity — a standard attribute of Zeus and a hallmark of Alexandrian reverse iconography. The regnal date legend L ΙΖ (Year 17) appears in the field, dating the issue to the seventeenth year of Trajan's reign in the Egyptian calendar (113–114 AD). |
