The effigy is rendered in the vigorous provincial style characteristic of Mysian civic coinage under the Severan dynasty. The circular legend is inscribed in Greek characters within a beaded border encircling the field. |

To the right, a reclining river god is depicted leaning left, serving as a witness to the mythological scene. The composition reflects a well-known Hellenistic narrative type frequently employed on Mysian provincial bronze coinage. The reverse legend is inscribed in Greek around the field within a beaded border. |
