| Beschrijving keerzijde | Emperor Trajan, laureate and togate, standing upright in a quadriga drawn by four elephants advancing to the right, holding an eagle-tipped sceptre in one hand and a branch in the other. The elephant quadriga is a powerful triumphal motif associated with deified rulers and military conquest, here employed to celebrate Trajan's Parthian victory. The date regnal legend L Κ appears in the field, denoting the twentieth year of Trajan's reign according to the Alexandrian calendar.
