The syncretic deity wears a modius (kalathos) atop his head, and his robes fall in flowing folds characteristic of Alexandrian divine iconography. To the lower left, Cerberus, the three-headed guardian of the underworld, stands as Sarapis's sacred companion. The regnal date legend L Κ (year 20) is placed in the field, flanking the figure on either side. |
