| 背面描述 | The emperor Trajan, laureate and in military dress, seated left on a curule chair (sella curulis), holding a small figure of Nike in his extended right hand and a long sceptre in his left. To the left of the throne stands a bound captive in a submissive posture, and behind the captive rises a trophy of arms. The composition is a standard imperial triumphal type emphasising Roman dominion over conquered peoples, consistent with Alexandrian bronze issues of regnal year 18. The reverse field shows the date legend L ΙΗ. |
