| Obverse description | Radiate and cuirassed heroic bust of Philip I (the Arab) facing left and seen from the rear, rendered in the so-called 'Hannibalianus' or back-view bust type distinctive of certain Mysian civic bronzes. The emperor bears a radiate crown, wears segmented plate armour (cuirass), and is depicted in an energetic military pose holding a transverse spear directed forward and a large round shield adorned with a gorgoneion boss. The encircling Greek legend runs around the periphery of the obverse field. |

| Reverse description | Three nymphs standing frontally in close register, each draped in a long chiton and himation, jointly holding or supporting a large water vessel (hydria or water jar) from which water flows, referencing the celebrated spring cult associated with Germe. The figures are rendered in a hieratic, symmetrical composition typical of Mysian civic bronze coinage of the mid-third century AD. The encircling Greek legend, divided across the upper and lower fields, names the local magistrate responsible for the issue and identifies the civic community. |
