She rests her right hand upon a large ship's rudder, symbolising Alexandria's preeminence as a maritime and commercial centre. The figure is rendered in a semi-recumbent pose with drapery falling over the couch, occupying the majority of the field. The regnal date legend L Γ (Year 3) appears in the upper field. |
