The effigy displays a finely rendered laureate wreath and the characteristic short beard of Hadrian. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙϹ ΤΡΑΙΑΝ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ, distributed around the periphery of the flan.
