| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, viewed from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The effigy displays a finely rendered laureate wreath and the characteristic short beard of Hadrian. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙϹ ΤΡΑΙΑΝ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait is rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style, with bold, slightly stylised modelling typical of the local mint's output. |
