| Opis rewersu | A tetrastyle temple with four columns surmounted by a rounded (arched) pediment, depicted in frontal elevation in the provincial civic coinage tradition. Within the intercolumniation, Zeus is enthroned to the left, holding a Nike in his extended right hand and a long sceptre in his left, consistent with the cult image of the principal deity of Antioch ad Maeandrum. The reverse legend naming the Antiochian civic community is disposed around the temple type. |
