| 正面描述 | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, portrayed from the rear, with the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder and the muscled cuirass rendered in relief. The imperial effigy is depicted in the characteristic heroic military style of Severan provincial coinage. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor by his full titulature, running around the periphery of the flan. |

| 正面铭文 | ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ Μ ΑΥΡ ϹΕΥ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ (Translation: Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Severus Antoninus) |
| 背面描述 | Two personified city goddesses face one another in a homonoia composition: at right, Sardis stands facing left, holding in her right hand a statuette of Kore (the patron goddess of Sardis) and in her left a long sceptre; at left, Ephesia stands facing right, holding in her left hand a statuette of Artemis Ephesia (the many-breasted cult idol) and in her right a long sceptre. The two figures are surmounted by a garland, symbolising the civic concord (homonoia) between the two great cities. The reverse legend in the exergue and field identifies the presiding magistrate and the two participating cities. |
