| 背面描述 | Euthenia, the personification of prosperity and abundance, seated left on a high-backed throne or chair, her figure draped in flowing robes. She extends her right hand forward holding ears of grain, while her left hand rests on a long sceptre. The regnal year date L ΙΘ (Year 19) is divided across the field to either side of the figure, with L to the left and ΙΘ to the right. A dotted border frames the reverse design, and the overall composition is typical of Alexandrian civic coinage of the Trajanic period. |

Year 19 of Trajan's reign corresponds to 115–116 AD, when the emperor was prosecuting his Parthian campaign and had pushed Roman territorial control to its furthest eastern extent, briefly reaching the Persian Gulf. Alexandria's mint continued issuing dated bronzes by regnal year throughout his reign — the L ΙΘ date formula is the Egyptian Greek convention, with L functioning as an abbreviation for "year."
The Alexandrian civic coinage operated under a distinct monetary system from the rest of the empire, functioning as a closed currency that could not legally circulate outside Egypt.
